HMAS CERBERUS Naval Base

Hastings is a mixed rural and urban electorate located approximately 42 kilometres south-east of Melbourne and covers just over 600 square kilometres.

The people that together make up the Hastings Electorate are a mix of young families, retirees, business owners, manual workers and professionals.

The natural features of Hastings are varied and  include the Langwarrin Flora and Fauna Reserve, Royal Botanic Gardens Cranbourne,  Boggy Creek, Kings Creek and Devilbend Reservoir.

The largest employers in the electorate are BlueScope Steel, Ingham’s Enterprises, Esso and the HMAS CERBERUS Naval Base.
